camp zones which can be booked online. All are beachfront on
Shelter Bay with idyllic beach camping and
views across South Passage to Dirk Hartog Island. 4WD accessible. The most popular time to
camp at
Shelter Bay is from April to October when winds are lighter and the sea calmer. Safe swimming and snorkelling. Booking
well in advance is recommended as sites are very popular during season.
