The Hakea Trail is a grade 4 multi-day coastal hike heading west of here via
Hamersley Inlet,
Tamala Karst
Lookout, Whalebone Creek, and finally reaches
Quoin Head - a total distance of 23km if started from the
Cave Point car park. The trail has markers. From here you can head east to
Cave Point for 3.3km along a short beach walk. There is a bench
seat offers visitors a great spot to enjoy the
views. Swimming is good at the beach.
