This is the site of the original Holland Tank built by John Holland in 1890, which in those days were built into the ground so water could flow and seep into them. Today, you'll just see an overgrown depression in the ground, but this is what Holland used to store water and was his base for his sandalwood pulling operation. Not to be confused with another site about 70km north east correctly known as Holland Rocks, but often mistakenly refered to as Holland Tank, where a modern concrete water tank lies by the side of the road with tracks leading to a granite rock formation.
