Situated 13kms east of Balmoral is Rocklands Reservoir - the largest water reservoir in Victoria. Constructed during the 1950s.
Around the edges of Rocklands are six
free camping grounds from which to start exploring the area. Pet friendly. Fishing, water skiing, swimming, boating, canoeing.

Nearby there are a number of walks and the Black Range State Park provides excellent bushwalking. There are three tracks to discover, all of which vary in length, scenery, style, pace and level. A short walk takes you to an
Aboriginal art site.
This Reservoir is a popular fishing hotspot for locals and angling enthusiasts where Brown and
Rainbow Trout, Australian Bass, Murray Cod, Golden Perch, European Carp, Redfin and Yabbies may be caught.
