Kalbarri National Park is
home to a series of gorges cut by the
Murchison River. This slashes abruptly through the sandy plateau for 100 kilometres from the NW Coastal Highway to
Kalbarri town.
The Loop,
Z Bend,
Hawks Head Lookout and
Ross Graham Lookout are magnificent gorges with truly stunning
rock formations. The Park is located 590 kilometres north of
Perth and 160 kilometres north of
Geraldton and covers about 186,096 hectares.
Kalbarri National Park features a large variety of flora especially during July and October when the landscape is ablaze with superb colours.
