Burke and Wills camped here on 20/12/1860. As they camped about 40 aboriginals approached and shared with the party some fish. Wills was somewhat confused as to where he was. He had in his possession Sturt's map of the area he thought he was in and nothing seemed to line up. They were however 150
miles east of Sturt.
