Traffic is light on Caroona Road, and the Eyre Highway is far enough away that there is no noise.
Local
police told us it is safe enough, but no guarantees. There were 6 groups here on the night we stayed, with room for many more. Driving further in will provide better shelter from the wind.
Nearby land is part of the Cultana Training Area and signs must be obeyed. DO NOT enter Commonwealth Department of Defence land.
