Small weir on the upper reaches of the river in the
Kosciuszko National Park. Operated for 50 years from 1960 diverting water via a 3.7 km long aqueduct into Gurrangorambla creek which flows into
Tantangara Reservoir. Decommissioned so as to restore flow. Access from north via a 24 km return bike ride from the
Blue Waterholes campsite, past
Pockets Hut over undulating terrain on the alpine high plains. From the south one can ride from
Old Snowy Campground for a 14 km round trip.
