Big mozzy!

In my back yard, gold coast, thats what worries me, cant find anything like it with the distinct gold on the body.

Ok - will ask my mozi expert mate (yes I have one - a mate and one who knows about mozis). There are however over 300 species so could be a challenge.

Looks like the type we had in Vietnam. Kept us awake at night sitting on the end of the bed arguing whether to eat you there or take you down the creek.

Stayed one night in the '60's at the old Hexham pub.
There was a fair bit of work going on at the slip so plenty of drinkers.

The pub was still going strong when most pubs would be shut, bloody hot Hunter river night and those bloody Hexham Greys all but carried us away.

The blood alcohol level of those mozzies would have been off the scale, they never gave in.
But we did, very early next morning.

I did google those but they were a different colour layout, maybe male or female.
