Description

A small tree with rough box-type bark. Adult leaves retain their juvenile form, they are large about 15x8cm, waxy-grey (glaucous) and the same colour on both sides, opposite and sessile. Flower buds in terminal panicles, buds grey-glaucous. Operculum conical, flowers cream with anthers tinged with pink.

Widespread in northern Australia Mt Isa west to the central Kimberley.

Flowering start in June.
