Description

Attractive weeping habit, to 6 m high.
Leaves very similar to Acacia stenophylla but tree form not at all similar, or along drainage lines.
Flower colour not observed.
Very long (approx 15 to 400 mm) flat green seedpods with large dark brown seeds inside, not dissimilar on first glance to a thin broadbean pod.

Identification

The main flower colour is other. Seeking an identification for this tree. Have ruled out A estrophiolata, A stenophylla, A paraneura, A Aneura,A salicina

Growing in open plains & flat ground to low depressions. Located approx 30 to 35 km south of Telfer mine on western side of road, heading to Rudall River National Park. Another big thicket approx 20 km west of there on the road to Carawine, before the Throssell Range.
