This is a
bore and handpump situated on the eastern side of the
Sandy Blight Junction Road at approximately the half way point between the
Gary Junction Road and Tjukurla. It is used as a
campsite by many of the locals travelling between Docker River or Tjukurla and
Kintore.
The pump is in serviceable condition. Water produced may be clear but highly salty. Suitable for showers but not immediately drinkable unless in a life saving situation.
