Road conditions:

Well graded and maintained.
The park:
In a word- excellent. Level grassed campsites with heaps of shade. Backing onto rainforest (the real deal here not the tourist stuff). Flush toilets with disable access. Cold showers. All serviced daily by rangers. Fires in bbq's or in someone elses firepits. Heaps of timber in the pine plantation about 2k from the park. Already sawn up into easily handled logs. Reticulated water (take your own drinking water though)
To do there:
Excellent ,short ,
well graded rainforest walks. This place rivals the Cape Trib stuff without the tourist footprint. Excellent deep, clear (cold) creek swimming and rapids to inner-tube down. Swimming platform and entry to the water via sandy spit.
Pro's and cons:
Pro's: No mosquitos, sandflies or other bities. Quiet and easy camping. Recommended for families with all age kids,
grey nomads and anyone else who wants a quality weekend camping. No mobile phone access or internet. (thank God)
Cons: Day visitors can be a bit annoying.
