Gorge Tourist Retreat is situated at
the entrance to most of the walks at the
Cania Gorge National Park. This caravan park and
camp ground offers a peaceful, rural bush setting abundant with native wildlife and birds. Wallabies and kangaroos roam around the park until late afternoon and in the evenings the very cute and shy bettongs, brushtailed possums and sugargliders come out to feed and play. Introduce the kids to some of Australia's most colourful birds and watch their faces light up as a king parrot or kookaburra land on their hand during the afternoon bird feeding.
