Information

Seven Mile Beach is near Hobart Airport, about 21 km from Hobart. It is a residential beach side suburb. It stretches 10 km (7 miles)along the coast in a crescent that faces from south east to south west as it curves.

Due to its proximity to both airport and beach it has, in addition to residential dwellings, hotels and a caravan park. There are modest shopping facilities.

There are several ways to reach Seven Mile Beach, including near the Seven Mile Beach shop, at Lewis Park, off Grueber Avenue and off Surf Road via Pittwater Road.
