Beautiful and free bush camps along both banks of Fortesque River. Engaging 4WD is required in most parts due to soft pebbly river sand. Access from
Marble Bar Road is not marked. Photos show
the entrance to the east of the road, opposite a large cleared
parking area on the western side.Popular spot with locals to visit to walk dogs, watch sunset etc.This is not an official
camp, so ensure it stays open by being respectful (as always) and do not foul the environment.
