Danu
camp is a small, walk-in
campground perched high in the mountains in
Warrumbungle National Park. The site is for backpack camping tents only. You'll need to bring your own drinking water, fuel stove,
toilet paper etc. It’s a perfect stopover on the long hike to Mount
Exmouth, or if you’re exploring Burbie trail by mountain bike. There are no camping fees at this site but park entry fees apply. Booking the site online or call.
This site is 6.7km (uphill) from the Split
Rock 2wd accessible
carpark on sealed road - allow approx 3 hours. Take the Burbie Fire Trail which forms part of the Mount
Exmouth track to reach the Danu Saddle where this
camp is located.
