Excellent free camping zone spread out over a very large area - you can camp among the trees, or you can camp on the old concrete building slabs - the choice is yours. No facilities. No designated sites. Read town map information board for instructions for camping zone. There is a section where camping/visitor access is not permitted due to private property but the open area allows for hundreds of campsites so there is plenty of space for everyone to find an ideal location. Pet friendly, open fires permitted but please use common sense and clean up after yourself to ensure this area remains open and free for future users.
