This was a
rest stop with a fireplace but recent redevelopment (prior to March 2021) has removed those facilities. The
parking area is quite large and level and there are no "No Camping" signs so you could do an overnight if required.
Otherwise, it is a
lookout on the
Murray River Road west of Tintaldra with stunning view over the Murray Valley and Pine Mountain. A story board describes the First People's annual
Bogong Moth hunt, which is represented by the sculpture.
Parking, seats and a table are provided, making the place an ideal picnic spot for travellers.
