Brady's
Lookout, in the Tamar Valley, once the hideout for bushranger Mathew Brady, is in an elevated position overlooking the Tarmar River, right beside the West Tamar Highway. There is ample
parking, BBQ,
toilets, all access ramps and viewing platforms are easily accessible. The viewing platforms, right in the
cliff edge, offers 360 degree
views including north and south along the river.
There is also interpretation signage in regards to Mathew Brady telling the story of a bushranger who irritated the government in his exploits while winning the hearts of the female colonists.
