The Mandalay Beach
Lookout is a very beautiful spot found on a boardwalks over the rugged beach. You'll find historical information and interpretative signs about Mandalay. Worth a visit purely for the stunning beach scenery, the lucky visitor may be fortunate enough to glimpse the wreck of the Mandalay - the Norwegian barque wrecked here in 1911. The wreck can still be seen poking out of the water when the tide is low. Spectacular
views of the Southern Ocean and Chatham Island.
The Bibbulmun Track also passes through here. Mandalay Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Walpole area.
To get here, you'll follow the Mandalay Beach Rd (2WD accessible).
