Welcome to Forgedale a Brisbane Farm Stay at Lake Kurwongbah. 5 mins drive off Bruce Highway. 45 mins north of Brisbane CBD, near North Lakes, Narangba, Petrie, Kallangur, Burpengary. 15mins walk from train station.

Open bushland 17 acre ex hobby farm. Backing onto flora and fauna sanctuary Lake Kurwongbah. If you like open bushland, and self catering, this is the Farmstay for you. 4 types of farmstay place options are available – Prices start from $25pn. Optional power and water site under awning or under stars near 2018 colourbond shed. Also a site by our rustic bush hut at our Forgedale farm dam and windmill, or a basic paddock camp adjacent to Lake Kurwongbah. Strictly limited numbers. Only 1 vehicle per farmstay site. To avoid disappointment, please book ahead. Arrival and departure anytime between 8 and 4.30pm Mon to Fri. Bookings must be made by 4pm on a weekday. The access to the colourbond shed is good road base, requiring a 3 point turn. The rustic hut track is ok for 2WD in fine and light weather. The Lake Kurwongbah site is 4WD only. The toilet is in the colour bond shed, and the hot shower is external (like at the beach).Toilet and shower are 300m from the rustic hut and 600m from the Lake Kurwongbah camp site.
