Information

This stump is the remains of a tree that was blazed by explorers Blaxland, Lawson and Wentworth during their historic crossing of the Blue Mountains in May 1813. The base around the tree was struck by a vehicle in 2012 and has not yet (Oct 2017) been repaired.
