Waterfall Beach is the next beach towards the east of
Madfish Bay and can be reached from its own
carpark just above the cove. So named as there is a small waterfall fed by a spring that flows over a small rocky crevice to the beach below. Unfortunately vandals have carved their names into the soft dirt walls alongside the waterfall but otherwise this is in a natural state and a joy to experience.
The fresh water
cascades from the heathscrub above the beach and creates a channel down the beach to the ocean. Kids will love to play here. The water creates lovely ripple effects and colours in the sand as the fresh water flows out to sea.
