Information

Survey cairn marked DP on the Avon Valley heritage trail.
Surveyed by John Forrest in the 1877-78 survey of the Swan and Avon valleys, by the original W.A. Dept of Lands and Surveys, it's the only fully intact survey marker from that survey, still standing. The tree near the rock cairn is engraved with DP. This cairn is Heritage Listed.
