Well we tried, but today we tucked our tail between out legs, and followed the bitumen form
Hebel back to
Dirranbandi, then
St George, and
Cunnamulla.
The rain was 2 nights, and not heavy, but for this country, too heavy. The dirt at
Hebel is almost black soil, it sticks and it sticks.
We had hoped to follow the Qld border out from
Tenterfield, to Camerons corner, but you have to respect mother nature. When you cant walk to the
toilet, its time to give up.
We are at
Cunnamulla for a few days, then on to
Hungerford area, to meet friends foe a few days, who are on a Qld, Nsw, run for 4 months
I liked
Dirranbandi, the highlight was the tour of Cubbie Station was outstanding, 2hours tour, the site is so vast, and millions of birds.
