A spot of overnight rain caught us out, as we had left the tent fly off to save time. The kids woke us up as water was dripping on them and more importantly their pillow pets.

A midnight flurry saw us put the fly on, which gave us a disturbed sleep and a late start.

Lots of driving past Hay and long straight roads. We met my parents for lunch at Mildura then carried on to find a campsite.

Tonight we're camped in Murray Sunset national park at Lindsay Island on the Lindsay river. Once again a bush camp with no-one else for miles. This campsite does have a few prickles, but the view of the river is pretty.
