I would appreciate any advice on the condition of the road from anyone who has travelled it recently. Also best fuel stops.
Cheers TIA

When are you going? The Canning Stock Route is flooded according to a recent report here. With the amount of rain they have been having, I would be keeping off all the outback tracks until the rain finishes and the place has dried out.

Regarding to the fuel stops, things are very fluid out there. Refer to Petrol Spy for latest info.

According to the CSR F/B site it was opened yesterday. Rangers came down to well 33 & had a meeting and opened it with a bypass being usable at the top end.

I was under the impression Bosun was inquiring about the Tanami? :-)

Not sure where the Canning comments came from.

Haven’t checked lately but suggest the Tanami has been open, with extreme care, for a couple of weeks. Certainly Sturt Ck no longer poses any issues.
