"We have noticed this issue seems to have held after the final release of the product however in all our testing it did and still does not show up. I have made a very minor update to the app which will come out as 8.0.3 however to get past this issue you can simply purchase the updated license direct from our online store -
EOTopo 2023 this will automatically be registered in your account and after purchase simply open the app and you will be able to download the 2023 maps.

Yes, I had the same issue. Went online and purchased from the online store, no problem.

Thanks did it that way around but it then refused to install, I completely uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted the device and that worked .
