Very useful and interesting post, and great photos, thanks. It seems you were on the track for over a week, how did you go for water?

Thank you for commenting and glad you enjoyed the blog.

As for water, our Ultimate had a 80 litre water tank and we always carry a minimum of 40 litres it the car.

We made sure we topped before leaving Alice Springs and Tennant Creek and still had lots of water left when we arrived at Timber Creek, where we topped up again.
