I have been unable to access the LCOOL forum for several months now. Does anyone know if it is ever to be resurrected?

Because it had such a wealth of information on it from members who made such great contributions, it would be a great loss if it died for good.

It’s unlikely to be resurrected.

Over the last few months, I had been sending the odd email to admin, asking for an update. The replies I received stated that hopefully the forum will be running again "in the next few weeks" or "soon" if all things go well. The last email I sent sometime in early February? - I did not get a reply. Very frustrating - either do or don't but at the very least you would expect some sort of update or indication via the LCOOL website. I think I have given up hope !!

It's a great loss if the forum has gone for good. I, for one, would be very happy to pay an annual subscription to keep it operational. I am sure many others would also be happy to open their wallets.

I honestly don’t think that a lack of money is the problem. Whilst I have no evidence to back it up, it sounds more like the system was hacked and deliberately corrupted to a point that it is unrecoverable. Just my opinion.

@ Macca….From someone I know that was talking to George Couyant who set that site up….. Apparently the latest updates really caused a major problem to the Forum.

You would think that there would have been back-ups and the previous version of the forum could have been reverted to.
