We have started the rollout of v7.6
ExplorOz Traveller.
So far, this version is only publicly available to Members who have access to the Traveller web-app (updated today).
If you are on the Android beta
test program you will get an invite to download this version today.
If you are on the Apple TestFlight program it has been submitted but awaiting approval (ETA Monday?).
We only expect to keep it in beta for just over the weekend and then it will be released to the app stores for all users to update.
NEW FEATURES ADDED TO V7.6
UI changes in Data Manager
UI changes to Settings
New Auto Sync Settings
New Distance Measure tool
Option to choose colour of nav route calculation
New mini maps button to expand fullwidth
Nearby
places range added 1, 2.5 & 5km
New green dot alongside icon showing Personal
Places & Personal
Treks in Nearby Lists and Folder lists to help differentiate between Personal/ExplorOz data.
UPDATES APPLIED
Auto detect/correct if map screen crash
Fixed issue causing photo sync duplicates
NOTE: User Manual update coming soon (in time for public release).

Hi folks, I had forgotten to remove my dev code from the initial web version 7.6.0 that appeared earlier. If you have it you will have a row of simulator buttons in the lower LHS, and also have more than the usual number of controls (for the web version). This will go away on Monday with the release going to be 7.6.1 or you can clear browser cache for the last few hours or days and reload the web interface.

New version is just great .
Thanks David and Michelle for keeping the app so up-to-date, and improving. Very much looking forward to giving it a real rest in the coming months when we are going north and west again.
Have already used it to plan the route.

Hi Guys. Love the app and the updates are great. EXCEPT the auto sync could do with some adjustments. I use the app in town and in the bush where there is no reception. I now get this annoying big red message that won’t go away. I don’t want to change the setting as that also give me an error message. Is it possible to have the sync / connection message auto close so that I don’t have to take my eyes off the road to actually get to the map.
