Being so close to the Adelaide River I would consider the snapping handbags a greater threat.

Then there's the huge numbers of Water Pythons than can be seen in the wet season at times. Not so threatening though, unless you dislike snakes.

There was a reported sighting of a snapping handbag and they do have a croc trap set there at the moment, with this photo only taken 2 days ago.

When I lived up that way, it was also a haven for File snakes, wouldn't want to get close enough to the water to investigate nowadays.
