G'Day All,
Here's a video of a day trip we did while at
Cloncurry recently.
Our stay at here was full of surprises,
Chinaman Creek Dam was an oasis in this dry area.
A day drive 60 odd kms west to the Ballara Mining
Heritage Trail is a must do. We visit the abandoned mining towns of Ballara, Bulonga & Hightville as
well as the old rail line & tunnel to Wee MacGregor
Mine. This is an area full of history & some basic four wheel driving. Lots of fun.
Finishing the day off with
Fountain Springs. A beautiful
gorge &
rock pool.
What a great stay
