Hi All
Here's a video we put together from a recent trip to Cooktown while on out way up the Cape.
The place has come a long way from the town we remember from the previous trip up the Cape over 15 years earlier......
So much so that on this occasion we spent a week there on the way up & 3 days on the way down.
Having some extra time allowed us to check out the surrounding areas as well as around town.
A great place to spend time exploring in my opinion......
Hope you enjoy
Cheers,
Paul & Michelle

Hi Stephen,
We have only recently started to visit local cemeteries on our trips & usually find them very interesting.
I have in the past but wonder sometimes if putting them in my videos is the right thing to do.
Thanks for your comments
Cheers
Paul

Another great place we also love and spent 3 days there is Elim Beach.

Out from Hope Vale Aboriginal Community, north of Cooktown,

You camp right on the beach and is magic.

No power, but toilets and cold shower showers

Hi Nick,
Thanks for the info. I'm not much of a reader (need to change that!) but Michelle is & will look it up.....
