I have an open weave nylon mesh for my Camp'o'matic which I bought from a marine dealer about 15 years ago.
I don't know if that product is still available but similar are available from Marine dealers.
This is something like it.
I have never had to lift the mattress because of damp.

We use that mesh to great effect in our hybrid van where the base of the bed (but not the bed itself!!) is exposed to the elements and gets cold.

Hi, Barry.
My set up is not exactly the same, but kind of similar. Howling Moon Stargazer RTT. Used to have a fair bit of condensation on the walls during the cold nights. Figured out that if I keep a side window and the top flap hatch open just a little bit - it's all good. Had no problems since.

Regards,

Just for your info - the condensation doesn't come through the floor. It comes from you, through your mattress & condenses under the mattress when it hits the cold floor. The mesh (or similar) works because it holds the mattress off the floor a bit & allows air flow so the moisture can evaporate rather than building up.
