Jumpstarter USB 12v Output ?

I have a Suaoki U18 Jump Starter 16000mAh and they appear to be out of business unfortunately.
The instructions doen't advise what is required to use the USB output to enable the use of the USB 2 different voltage outputs . The USB 2 is blue in colour compared to
grey for the other one .
The manual states USB 2 output is 5v 3A / 9v 2A /12v 1.5 A
Is there a special cable ? There is no switch to change the voltages so how does it work ?
I wish to run a external 12v 0.07A LED light from the Suaoki

USB is 5 volts output. You can't change the voltage. Only the power is different between USB and usb2. 1/2 amp or 2.1 for the usb2
Mine came with a little 12v air compressor that plugs into the main 12 starting port so you can just get a plug to fit that port for the light

This is the label on the device, same as the manual indicating a 12v output .
I measured the voltage on the main jumper lead output and it is pulsating so no good for my purpose

USB can now deliver from 5V up to 20V in QC4 or 18V in QC 3. Almost every USB socket and a device like a phone/tablet etc do this these days.
When you plug a USB device into a USB socket, it initially charges at 5V then the device tells the charger what its maximum input voltage is. Say 9, 12, 18 or 20V. Then the USB charger automatically goes to this voltage without any user intervention. If the device is an old USB device the charger will stay on 5V
This is how devices can charge at 40, 60 or even 80W these days. 20v x 4A - 80W.
This device can do that, but with a maximum of 12V.

Thanks for that knowledge.
Looks the power bank is no good for a basic 12v LED light as the battery is only 3.7v

Interesting product, not sure how many or what devices are rate at 12v 500ma it could power.
It also makes me wonder how the 3.7v Jump Starter can manage to start a lumpy diesel motor.

Hi kgarn,
They can actually put out insane amounts of current @ 12v but only for a short time. I have a Suaoki P4 (rated at 500A peak) and it has started my V6 3.0 l petrol with a completely flat battery easily. They really are amazing for the size. I would think his U18 with 1200A peak would have no problem with a lumpy diesel - they say up to 5.0l. And as i have stated in another followup, they do put out 12v, much more than 500mA thru the EC5 port. The QC3 port is also good for 5/9/12v but only 18w.

I have a Suaoki P4. What others have said about it being a QC3.0 port is correct and the port should be marked as such (it is on
mine). You state in an earlier reply that you are getting 12v but it is pulsing. I suspect this is because you have the Jump starting safety mechanism connected. You can get constant 12v from the unit by connecting directly to the EC5 port without using the Jump starting safety mechanism. This is easily checked with a multimeter. But be warned, i don't think there is any protection on this and shorting the output would not be pretty. I have purchased a simple "EC5 to 12v adapter" (google it to find similar) allowing easy connection via a cigarette plug.
And visiting Suaoki.com, they look to still be in business.

Hi Adam, Thanks for that , looks the goods . The price varies from $39 Itech to $9 on fleabay.
Re Suaoki.com in business, the facebook site of SUAOKI Official Community has lots of comments about no response. So the website may be just the shadow of the previous business.
