The Geographical Centre of Simpson Desert is in very remote and challenging areas of the northern Simpson Desert ... I have exhausted all my friends who say they have been to enough deserts with me so I am looking for some adventurous souls to tag along .... I have stated that the trip starts 2/8/10 but this is not set in concrete as I am retired and flexible ... When I travel in the desert I like to take it easy for the vehicle sakes and the peoples sakes so this trip may take up to 10 days at my relaxing pace ... The terrain is very challenging and requires vehicles to be in very good conditions ... I need at least 3 more vehicles but like to keep the number manageable and no more than 6 .... Send me a message if interested .... Starting point is not decided yet as the Simpson is very wet at present but I am hoping will be much dryer by August ... This trip is suitable for experienced and the not so experienced as long as the vehicle is in good condition and the people are adventurous and don't mind roughing it ...
