Perennial, herb (with trailing or twining stems), 0.02-0.6(-2) m high. Fl. pink/white, Jan to Dec. Calcareous sandy loams, red sands, cracking clay, ironstone, limestone. Damp depressions,floodplains, drainage lines, slopes, tracks.
