2018 National Gathering - Kilcowera Station - QLD

Active Track Log from EOTraveller (iOS) saved 6/10/2018 7:56:31 AM -- This was a quick trip up to Kilcowera Station for the National gathering, except for the run from Wanaaring up Hamilton Gate Rd to the Dowling Track. Coming home was the most direct route that we could achieve due to time restraints. We also recorded the station internal scenic drive that was available. One day was a trip to Eulo for Judy to have a artesian mud bath (1.5 hrs) whilst I spent time visiting the local water hole to quench my thirst. Hamilton Gate Rd was compacted sand and dirt, and a tick off the bucket list.Kilcowera Station was a great spot to camp for 5 days and use as a base, but it is a pity that the drought has taken it's toll on the area. When the lagoon and billabongs re fill, the area would be stunning.
