Marbug is located just off the
Warrego Highway, around 20km (20 minutes) from downtown
Ipswich and 56km (48 minutes) from the
Brisbane CBD.
Facilities in Marburg its self are limited, consisting of a
post office, a corner store/takeaway, a pub, 2 cafe's, hairdresser and a pharmacy. 8 minutes away is Rosewood that has banks (NAB/
Bendigo), Drakes (
IGA) Supermarket, pharmacy,
bakery, a
laundromat and 2 mechanics.
Camping and van
parking are at the showground where there are toilet/showers and washing machine available. Dances are held in the hall every Saturday night.
