Located around 48 km west of Cue is Walga (or Walganna) Rock, which is Western Australia's answer to Uluru. This magnificent natural large rock is a 2km monolith and is one of the largest in the world. It resembles that of a white, square–rigged sailing ship with two masts and square portholes.

This huge rock consists of numerous beautiful aboriginal artworks and a namma hole. Unfortunately, no accurate date can be placed on the paintings although it was almost certainly created before 1900. The bushes which protected the rock for hundreds of years have been removed and the paintings are slowly starting to fade from exposure to both sun and corrosive forces.
