Wuruma Reservoir - QLD

Jan., 2011 - The lake is full to the brim, attracting birdlife, kangaroos, hares, rabbits, and brown snakes which are on the move at this time of year. There are toilets on the hill behind the camping area, but otherwise you need to be independent (dump point and water at Eidsvold or Monto). Raw dam water which you could use for laundry from a tap at the toilets. Plenty of shade and cool breezes, so it is quite pleasant even in the middle of summer, 90% of the time. Very quiet and peaceful during the week, but the locals frequent the place on weekends.
