weiiiii
We stayed at Dyrandra in September this year and the
camp sites were exellent at $6.50 per person per night. There are large fireplaces and wood was supplied by the calm ranger. There were lots of
wildflowers and we found 11 types of orchids within walking distance of our
camp. There are lots of walking trails and if you are lucky as we were you might see a numbat or echidna in the wild.
Barna Mia is a must see night tour that has to be booked and is an enclosed breeding faciltity within in the forest area where you will see lots of Western Australias endangered species.
Animals that you might see in mainly Wandoo woodland include bilbies, banded hare wallibies, boodies and quendas. There were also lots of birds nesting when we were there and in fact a
grey carrowong had its nest right next to our
camp. Brush tail possums were visitors to our
camp at night while we sat around the
camp fire.
Cheers Graeme.
