Information

Named by explorer Frank Hann on 12th March 1906, this is the south-westernmost extremity of the Saunders Range.

On most of his expeditions, Hann rounded this point and the route is now a well travelled pad used by feral camels.

The Saunders Range is a spectacular west facing cliff line often 60 metres high. It was named by Hann on 30 May 1903 for H.J. Saunders, a member of the syndicate that financed Hann's expedition.
