Information

This old farming town is located among the rolling hills south of Devonport against the backdrop of Mount Roland. It is the major town of the Kentish Shire Council. The town is well served with eating, drinking and accommodation options and is surrounded by magnificent rural scenery. The hills are dominated bu the bulk of Mount Roland which itself is a tourist and walker attraction.

The town's main feature is a beautiful display of murals that illustrate the history of the Kentish district. There are many galleries and you may even meet the local artists and watch them work.
