Signed historic site on the Golden Quest trail. Well is very deep and the story of the tragedy at the kitchen dug out is worth reading and seeing. Just 4km along a slightly corrugated track signed off the main road. Continue around to the graves of Sophie Chapman and Alexander McDonald.
