The Gantry is the remains of a once thriving timber sawmill that operated from the 1930's when boilers ran the steam engine right through to 1981. Today, this day-use area is the gateway to exploring the northern section of D'Aguilar National Park.

Pack a picnic or cook-up a barbecue and enjoy a relaxed lunch in the spacious, grassy picnic area. If you're feeling energetic, both the Piccabeen walk and Somerset trail start and finish opposite the picnic area.

There are wheelchair-accessible toilets, picnic tables, barbecues, pathway to The Gantry and car park spaces. Assistance may be required.
