The highlight of the 70km sign-posted vehicular track around the
Mungo National Park is the white coloured lunette (or "walls") - named the
Walls of China where you can walk back in time through the layers of a dune and stroll to the top of the drifting sands for a view across the lake floor. There are two
lookout points with good information signboards.
Remember that all Aboriginal artefacts, bones and fossilised plant matter is protected by law. Do not pick up or remove any that you may see.
