The
Eromanga Natural History Museum has recently been built near
Eromanga in Far South Western Queensland to further investigation of dinosaur fossils found to the west of the town and the finds in old
mud springs at
Eulo.
The museum has an extensive stock of still to be restored fossils as
well as an interesting array of complete fossils and work in progress. Tours of the facility are available (fee) that include demonstrations of the art of fossil recovery and preservation.
The museum is located opposite the
Eromanga air strip in
Mount Margaret Road.
